On January 14th in Chicago, the lyric "Winter without 'em is a culinary bummer" rings true a little more than I'd like. Good thing it's just about time to find my seed catalogues and start planning Chicago TomatoFest 2010!

I've been thinking about what you're going to pick for 2010. Doing more or less tomatoes than last year?
ReplyDeleteI am going to put out a call for help so we are growing what people are interested in as well as what worked best. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteDunno how much good my thoughts would be. The CTF tomatoes I grew were a bust. Although, the CTF tomatoes I planted in an empty lot that was acting like a you-pick community garden did awesome. As a result many people who lived near it got to taste CTF tomatoes, but I wasn't one of them. I should see if I can track any of them down and ask if they remembered what they liked
